A native emergent that is often used in wetland restorations. Waterfowl readily feed on the seeds and plants.
Planting Instructions: Use general ground prep method (click here.) Plant in spring or fall. Drill 15 lbs per acre 1/2" deep or spin spread 15 to 20 lbs per acre. If spin spread, lightly harrow to cover seed. Either way, roll if possible. This crop can be flooded as it grows or if fall planted, flooded for the winter to sprout in the spring as water recedes.
