Plant 6-8 lbs per acre with approximately 170,000 seeds per lb.
This native perennial can tolerate periods of drought and total inundation. It forms large dense stands in alkaline or saline sites, handling a pH of up to 9.0 but can also grow in fresh water sites. Spreads vigorously through rhizomes.

Best planted in fall since it requires 60 days of cold to break dormancy. Drill 6-8 lbs per acre.
