A native, clump-forming wetland sedge ideal for moist meadows, pond edges, and wet prairie restoration. It establishes well in wet to seasonally wet soils and adds ecological value to restoration plantings. Very similar to Carex feta but produces seed heads that retain their seeds longer and mature a few weeks later.
